What does my first appointment look like?
Your initial evaluation will start with getting an in-depth look at your history as an athlete along with any relevant medical history (injuries, etc.). Next we will go through a comprehensive orthopedic assessment looking at relevant range of motion, strength and mechanics. All of our athletes evaluations with finish with a functional movement assessment pertaining to your goals and sport. Come to your appointment dressed to move - this should feel like work out!
Do you take my insurance?
The Resilient Athlete Performance PT LLC is an out-of-network provider, which means we do not directly accept insurance. The traditional insurance model prevents us from treating you in the best possible way with a focus on performance. We feel that athletes need more than this and want to be able to provide you with the highest level of care and the attention you deserve. This will ultimately lead to LESS visits, faster outcomes and reduced spending in the long-term.
Am I able to get reimbursed?
You can easily determine your out-of-network benefits by calling the number on the back of your insurance card. Often times insurance will reimburse you for some if not all of your PT services especially if you have a PPO plan or Health Savings Account (HSA). Following each appointment, we will give you an itemized receipt with all of the information needed to get reimbursed. How often do I need to come see you?
Where most PT clinics will see patients 2-3x a week, we usually see our patients 1x a week. We make it a point to ensure you are staying on the right track through access of our digital home exercise program - delivered through an app. You will have access to your PT even when you are not in the clinic.
What’s the best way to reach you?
In order to give our clients the 1-on-1 attention they deserve, all of our calls will be screened to voicemail. The best way to get direct access to a staff member it to text us at 239-344-9635.
